The question is: how many times can you ride your bicycle past an apple tree and not notice it?

One mountain bike trail that I ride almost 2-3 times a week during the summer has a huge apple tree at the trail-head. You would think that with the 100's of times that we have ridden past that we would have noticed the apples on the ground, but no, not once. Today on the way up we saw, we stopped, and we ate from the delicious apples at the trail-head. Makes me wonder how many other things I ride past and never notice...
