WOOOHOOO it is snowing!

Since I missed the first real snow storm while I was in Florida for work I'm glad that I got to see this one. I'm not sure why I like it when it snows, but I do. I even enjoy driving in it. I get a kick watching soccer moms in thier SUVs driving like morons. Really I should hate the snow, I can't ride my motorcycle when it snows like it is (more than 2 inches), and it really signifies the end of the mountain bike season. Those two things really make up a huge protion of my life, so you would think that I would hate winter. I think it is probably from my childhood experiences of closed school days...who could forget the winter of 1983! I have decided that I am going to try to ski again this year. It has been several years since I have gone skiing on a regular basis, and I really haven't tried to ski since I screwed up my ankle. But for this new turn in skiing I am going to start backcountry skiing with some friends at work. In all my skiing I was always a resort user that simply bought a pass to Snowbird (the best resort in Utah). I am also not going to stop riding my moutain bike this year. I'm getting myself prepped and hope to be riding in the snow by the end of the week. I won't be riding my motorcycle for a couple of days and I am glad I didn't ride today, I would have never made it home...
