For want of a camera
Last night we went out for dinner. We went to a traditional Japanese restaurant in Omura. I was excited to finally have real sushi. We ordered our meals, myself with a nice mix of sushi, tempura, soup, sashimi, a fish(a whole fish - head and all), and a small salad. A few minutes later we were served our appetizer. A live squid. I have never seen anything like it before. They litterally served this 20 inch squid to us while it was still alive. It had been skinned and had its body sliced from neck to tail. At first I thought it was dead, and then I saw it move a tentical. It was still changing colors and moved any time you touched its head. It was quite yummy, and was the first time I ever ate anything that watched me eat itself.
