Too funny...More calls

So yesterday I got another phone call from the idiot titled "Linda". The call when something like this:
Mark: "Hello this is Mark."
Duh: "Linda."
Mark: "Mark."
Duh: "KP?"
Mark: "MARK!"
Duh: "...."
Mark: "This isn't KP. You have the wrong number."
Duh: "Are you sure?"
Mark: "You called me. My name isn't KP."
Duh: "You aren't KP?"
Mark: "What gave it away? When I answered and said, 'Hello this is Mark'?"
Duh: "KP this is Linda. Remember me?"
Mark: "Earth to Linda, this is Mark. I do remember you because you have called me over a dozen times."
Duh: "When are you coming to the hospital?"
Mark: "Dear lord woman! I am NOT KP. You have the wrong number and have left me at least 10 voice mail messages in the last month. Remember I called you a week ago at 6:00 in the morning and told you to stop calling me."
Duh: "When are you coming to the hospital?"
Mark: "I am not coming to the hospital! Here's the deal. You have the wrong number. I am not sure why after at least three conversations you insist on calling me. You must be a mental defect. I am sure that your hand held talking device has a button that can be used to delete a number. Please get out the paper with words on it and have someone that knows how to read delete this number from your talking device."
Duh: "KP!"
Mark: "....!"
Duh: "I don't understand."
Mark: "Let me make it easy for you. Stop calling me."

Not 24 hours later I have two new voicemails waiting for me. I really think this is funny, but at the same time I wish they would stop calling me. I almost wonder if someone is pulling an elaborate practical joke on me, but it is too real for it to be that...

If you haven't heard the others, these are definately worth listening to:

Strike the Electrical Designer, replace that with Software Engineer

So I went from a Software Test Developer on Friday to being an Electrical Designer this morning to a Software Engineer this afternoon. What a trip. I think I like the last title best.

Welcome to Rockwell Collins...

It's official now. I work for Rockwell Collins Simulation and Training Services. Odd coming to the same cube I have been in for more than a year, but now for a different company.

Electrical Designer

That's odd.

Moab good...Arm not so good...

So our trip to Moab went well for the most part. I had a nice over the bar experience, I did't want Bob to feel alone. Can't go to the doctor one because it is Memorial weekend and none of the specialty clinics are open, and two because I don't know who my health insurance is with (or if I have any for that matter). I guess for now I will live in pain (quite severe I might add) wishing I had a loritab...

Hopefully tomorrow when I start at Rockwell Collins I will find out what the story is and can get my arm looked at.
