South of 220

Maybe to some of you this isn't a big deal, but to me it is huge. It has been probably close to 10 years since I weighed less than 220 pounds. I know that this is "just barely" under 220, but considering I have been stuck in a funk somewhere between 225 and 235 for at least 6 months this is good and shows that my hard work is finally paying off. Next up - South of 210.

Oxymoron?

So on my way to work this morning I saw a bumper sticker that read, "Support your economy...Buy local!" I'm all for buying local to support the economy, but this moron was driving a Toyota Truck. Sure he buys his $4.00 loaf of bread from Great Harvest, but when it comes time to spend 20K let's give it to the Japanese. Not that I blame him, I would definately take a Tacoma over a Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado. At the moment there are only a hanful of cars designed, built, and manufactured in the U.S.A. that I would even consider buying. Anyway I am getting sidetracked here...If you are going to put a bumper sticker on your vehicle to support your local economy you should probably have it on something produced here in the U.S.A.
