Fun ride in the snow...

So it has been about a month since I have really been able to get out on my mountainbike. Between travel for work and bad weather I have only been able to spend a couple of hours on the trainer and not a single mile on the trail. Well today we went out and rode up dry creek...what a blast. The snow pack really makes it a totally different ride. I have probably ridden that trail 100 times, and it was like a whole new ride. It is amazing how much traction one actually has in the packed snow. There are a couple of icy spots, but overall it was a blast. Not even too cold considering it is a blistering 25 degrees outside!
